I understand that the knee jerk reaction is against these types of investments but without them, Canada would be left out of that market, which would be a serious mistake.
you might be right about it being a good investment when we look at what the world is trying to acheive with electric cars ...I still haven't digested GM taking off with millions from the St.Therese plant in Mirabel but whatever .... my frustration is with the Qc govts who have made all the wrong moves when trying to create jobs here ... language and mismamngement of resources have cost us many jobs that we will never get back ...with all our natural resources ( forestry, water, cheap hydro power and now popular
copper, graphite, niobium, zinc, cobalt, nickel, titanium and lithium) , the best province in the best country is becoming a cesspool of crime and poverty while our "leaders" are filling their pockets and laughing all the way to the bank ... generations of hard-working citizens facing poverty at old age ... only politicians can deal with poverty around them and still ask for raises ... our city highers property taxes / cuts services then pays for a radio add that tells tenants not to accept their landlord's raises ... how they can get away with this type of behavior is beyond crminal ... the city cannot run affordable housing that they own ( 37% of it is in bad or very bad shape ) but expects private landlords to do so without the hundred million $ the city gets every year ... I guess the money Bombardier got to creat jobs was a good deal after all....lol...somebody should tell the rest of Canada ...GLTA
