Investors Overview of GE VPT
There is a difference between doubting, and asking critical questions about deployment and execution of stated, objectives, and milestones for a company.
In four days will be at a two-year anniversary of the announcement that VPT would upload onto the GE Edison Developer Platform.
Really, rather than questioning it’s trying to understand why it hasn’t launched yet and exactly what it will be if it does in fact launch so as to make a rational decision.
I read on this webpage and elsewhere that this was going to mean that GE was going to actually be selling VPT, which is clearly a major plus for sales-IF THIS were true. I have never heard GE say this, nor have I seen this in the published financials
If you go onto the GE Edison website, you will see that they indicate that there is 1 of 110 apps, as I understand it
So, if this is like the App Store on my iPhone, there are many many applications, and Apple is not specifically promoting any of them,IMO.
Would this be the case IF VPT is added as an app?

I am not saying this is what it’s going to be, but show me a verified source where it’s something different-where this is more than a Edison project?

If we are being critical, one could identify that in the vivid system, they already have some of what I understand VPTs capability, and they do have artificial intelligence already in the vivid system.
Maybe someone can educate exactly how they differ?

I’ve seen many many posts there were people have tried to assume that this could be the VPT they are talking about
On the one hand this exactly verified my comment that the systems seem to overlap in function
On the other hand
that makes little sense that GE would be hiding thisas to why they would be promoting something without identifying it?

As I read this, it is speaking, generally, about third parties, and the word “potentially” becomes more important to me at this point.
I know we have heard the story about the elephant and the walk, but at some point you need to hear the details, it needs to be announced it’s uploading, and then you need to see exactly how this could impact sales rather than being one of many apps that could get lost, and are not being specifically promoted
In the end, if you had bought GE with the split, to GEHC, you would be up significantly now.
All in my opinion, not for investment purposes, simply for entertainment, as I try to understand, and dissect these small cap companies, that people on this board, recommended to me , and I learn also the cognitive biases that seem to exist
