RE:Manitoba canauk!!Lol. I will tell ya something . I was laughed at for buying Athabasca Oil at $1.2 and see where they are once debt is down and buybacks started . I sold out 75% of my holdings at $3.25 and bought in Baytex back again . The main prob is lack of buybacks till merger closes. in Q2 end. The rpice colapse from $7 coinciced with the time they stopped buybacks in Dec 2022 . Once buybacks start at $2mill per trading session or $40mill/month means they buy 8mill shares per month( if price is $5) or 1% of float monthly . Do the math .
1.5 bill FCF by June 2024 at 75WTI .
Debt will be at 1.5billion by June 2024 and share count to 750million . In 2.5yrs they can bring share count to 550 million and debt to 1 billion if WTI >75 .
Anthing above is gravy and accelerates returns .
