Industry earnings

Industry earnings General Dynamics and Dassault reports on April 26th. Raytheon tomorrow morning before bell and Honeywell same time as Bombardier.

Aside from Q1 numbers its more important to look at the next few quarters.  Bombardier after market sales should continue to climb and jets delivery should maintain same or better pace.  Key indicator for future growth and strength will be backlog.

Raytheon's Collins Divsion will be good indicator as they build avionics, flight controls, landing gear, for many OEM.  If their backlog grows then Bombardier should be inline.  Same for Pratt Canada, while no Pratt Canada engines power Bombardier jets, Pratt Canada is leader in bizz jet engines.  Their order numbers will also help determine health of bizz jet market.

If Dassault and GD backlog grew bigger then Bombardier then that means Bombardier is lossing market share to them.  And if Bombardier has bigger intake they they are gaining.  Its going to be busy week of results to go through.

Atleast EM doesn't fluff and tell b$ stories like PB so what Bombardier says now can be trusted.
