Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. Its East Division is comprised of four regions: Central AB, West Sask, East Sask and Weyburn. Its Central Alberta region represents the bulk of its Cardium and liquids-rich Mannville assets.

RE:RE:RE:RE:WCPI agree Jleer42 on all fronts, been long, and staying long.  I'm looking forward to their first quarter release, (I'm thinking their releasing the first quarter, although I have'nt heard much about that latley, I have calandered the conference call for Thursday at 11:00 am.)  Not really expecting anything earth shattering just ,"steady as she goes". which is fine too. I stand behind WCP, and as I think we move closer to the middle of May, we're going to see an increase in buyers, I feel pretty confident we are going to see oil in the low to mid 80's, that combined with OPEC cuts, I think we'll see some decent  surges.  I have already counted China out as far as what decisions I make in the future as that countries reporting is less that relaiable.
