RE:The cartel is coming. My minions it is coming.

RE:The cartel is coming. My minions it is coming. VerificateASAP - Maybe you should read the entire article instead of just cherry picking the fantasy paragraphs.

Paragraph 3 for example:

Yet, replicating an OPEC-like cartel for the so-called energy transition metals is easier said than done. Unlike the oil resources of OPEC's producers, the mining operations in Indonesia and other major nickel producers are controlled by various private companies or Chinese entities. Moreover, the biggest producers and holders of nickel deposits are a diverse group of countries with very different political and market conditions and unlikely to have common ground and interests in forming a cartel. Apart from Indonesia, producers of nickel include Russia, Canada, Australia, and the United States, although the U.S. doesn't have a lot of resources or output compared to Indonesia, the Philippines, Russia, or Australia.

Ya that smells like a cartel alright...you gotta be kidding me.  Grasping at straws!  What is wrong with you VerificateASAP. Think geopolitics and demographics.  China and russia are done.  They are experiencing population decline in the next 2 decades.  That means economic decline.  Russia is losing all its young men in Ukraine. China 1 child policy destryed millions of future workers and spenders. China is the fastest aging population next to South Korea.  There's also big western companies in Indonesia like Freeport-McMoran who have a positive relationship with the government.  Given the retreat of American protection on the sea all economies are facing shrinkage too.

Inverted pyramid demographics will weaken countries around the world.  The few countries not doing too bad demographically are the Mexiacans, Americans and Canadians (successful immigration programs).

A Ni Cartel has as much potential as the BRICS creating their own currency.

Once again sunshine and rainbows.  Just stop posting your exagerated stories.  People on this thread have figured you out.  Lots of smoke but no fire man.
