IMCX.c and its diverse copper properties in Canada and Chile In the 1990s and 2000s, there were on average 11.5 and 9.4 major copper deposits discovered each year, respectively, but from 2010 to 2019, only 1.9 were discovered each year. This underscores the growing scarcity of copper and the value of known copper discoveries. Source: https://financialpost.com/commodities/mining/is-world-running-out-copper
Interra Copper (IMCX.c or IMIMF for US investors) controls two copper properties in Canada and three in Chile. In Chile, IMCX's Tres Marias, Pitbull, and Zenaida Projects are all located in the country's prolific Copper belt.
The Pitbull Project is an early-stage greenfield property which covers 1,400 hectares in a region which is known for its mineral exploration and mining activities. Zenaida is also an early-stage exploration project which spans 1,800 hectares. IMCX has plans to conduct several geological surveys at the project to help plan future drilling locations.
Tres Marias stands out as IMCX's intermediate-stage exploration project. IMCX recently announced 2023 exploration plans for Tres Marias, including 10,500 meters of drilling across three target areas.
In Canada IMCX controls the Thane and Chuck Creek Copper Properties. Within the Thane property, there are six mineralized regions that contain multiple mineralized zones. Chuck Creek is situated close to Taseko Mines' Yellowhead copper-gold deposit and notably also boasts a substantial alluvial gold stream geochemical anomaly.
