26 million DIR units at $0.05833 per unit per month = ~$1.5 million per month in DIR distributions = $18 million per year. They are worth around $390 million at present market prices so the $18 million per year in DIR distributions could just as easily be $18 million in saved annual interest expense if the DIR units were sold for debt repayment. The DIR units could also be sold to do a Dream Office SIB. This would cancel Dream Office units while saving Dream Office more than enough in monthly distributions no longer needing to be paid (to no longer existing units) to compensate for all lost DIR income.
