Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

RE:RE:RE:SHORTS ARE HUNGRYI don't however I have read the Artis Annual Report a couple times, looked at what Artis owns, and won't be selling my position no matter what shorts send the price to because I am comfortable with my investment in Artis. I view my Artis investment as the perfect complement to my investment in Dream Office. Between the two of them, I feel like I have Canadian office real estate well covered. Financial news media can write what they want but it won't affect my resolve that these are good REITs invested in good real estate.
