situ operations by applying Harris' antenna technology to heat the oil sands electrically with
radio waves. Suncor also injected a hydrocarbon solvent to help mobilize the bitumen.
I believe the main differences between it's technology and Acceleware's is that Axe's RF XL
is 'microwaving' the earth with radio waves powered by the CTI.
Acceleware's technique uses just radio frequency, no solvent. Different paths to the same
idea, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. So...keeping it very simple and clean.
