RE:RBCI'd really like to see the graphs on all cause mortality for the last 20 years and then into the next 5-6 years. 2018 was, if I recall from last time I checked, an outlier of higher deaths and if we have had higher numbers in 2021-2022 it may have been by "pre-selling" death to those in the two year window anyway.
So we should see a drop in deaths followed by a resumption of the usual up and downs of annual numbers in the same range as the historical numbers. The population is growing globally, so this is a steady line up.
We have a baby boom coming down the pipes that, on a population percentage level, Canada was one of the big boomers. So expect a death boom.
Bottom line, I know the covid-death thing is a headline grabber, but not so sure it's really been a thing. More a media hype.
Anyway, I have bought and will hold. This stock has some great potential and if they get into the business of cremation as a service only, it will be even better for this company.
