RE:RE:RE:RE:Anybody Expecting A COP Counteroffer For Surmont ?Yah, i think COP would one day get out out Cdn oilsand.   They held surmont long enough and making good return on that asset but having tarsand stigma stuck to them isn't good to their corporate image. I think it comes down to how much SU or other Cdn operators willing to pay for COP's operated 50% share of surmont. Being key players in Cdn oilsand, i'm sure either SU or CNQ or IMO would want to be the operator of their asset
