Ken Konkin said the glacial ice was ablating @ 200 meters per year. That was up from his previous estimate of 140 meters per year.... In five years that would work out to a kilometer. I wonder if he was referring to the goldstorm side of the treaty creek glacier. It has a different source than the southern side f the glacier. it also seems to be ablating much faster than its southern part..
