In general you are right about reverse splits - but the news release simply confirms that a reverse is not ruled out and that does not contain any new information on the issue as no release has ever reported that they were against a reverse. Further they are not even bound by this release to stay on the Nasdaq so all options are still available.
they bought time here for only costs of some lawyers though i am disappointed they didn't just blow off the formal US markets and move to the OTC.
