Poor Poor Buttcox You state his logic is sound and then point out it is nowhere near that.. What does he care anyway, he is likely sitting on the sidelines waiting for a recession that will never come (employment up on both sides of the boarder). Experts (not Butt) have been predIcting this recession for a year now. (If it comes, ive never seen such long and predicted prostication of a looming recession.) This is the problem with trend analysis when your wrong - and most are- you get whacked harder. Time in the market, not timing the market. Its one of the most basic rules,
So whos right and further ahead- the guy who bought at 8 held to 2 (buying more along the way) and holds to 12 or the guy who sold at 6???? and never got in again, worried about trends. Not hard to figure out (double so if divy's are involved). Psst its NOT the trend guy (no matter what he may say). Its math. If you like the company buy and hold the company. He buys a line, not knowIng where that line is headed.
i begged him to buy at $2.60 then 3, 4 and 5 now 6. Is THAT a trend ? LOL Apparently not (or was the trend missed??).
It was easy money just laying on the ground for a Stand Up Triple, all you had to do was pick it up
Surpised he still is here clearly showing how wrong he was/is. Butt the key to be right is never admitting your wrong.
The response will have nothing to do with the company - or his miscalculation
Your logic is sound Budd except for the fact that virtually ALL of the acquisitions took place prior to January 2022. So as was mentioned in the NR the increase in patient visits and the %ages associated with them are not connected to a 2022 acquisition ....thus they are organic (check out the meaning of this word). This suggests that apples are being compared to apples ....Q1 2022 numbers are post acquisition and thus a direct comparison can be made to Q1 2023 numbers.
