Russian WarIf a person looks at the data and over a year has passed since the war started...it has worked perfectly for the USA and Europe governments enviroment goals. This war has speed things up so much.
2022 led to more coal usage as natural gas prices were so high but it is working in 2023 getting coal down.
USA coal powerburn for electricity has been 12-15% of total USA generation since Feb when NG got cheaper.
Thats half of normal...coal should be 22-30% of USA generation.
Putins war destroyed coal demand in 2023 for power...just took time.....
It will impact oil demand eventually as well, Europe gasoline and diesel demand will slowly go down.
People cant afford gasoline prices in Europe so EV will contonue to build in Europe.
Putins war was a really bad thing for energy markets...was good for oil and gas in 2022 but long term...nope.
