RE:RE:Ceo Gone???Well, that's YOUR personal view and i or anyone else can tell you otherwise OR prevent you from having that opinion of the man. On my end, as i don't know the man personally, i cannot disparage him in that way. Nothing leads me to be believe HE'S the reason Pipestone has "issues" and is underperforming or HE'S the reason some potential "lucrative" offers for the company were turned down. Which i'm taking a wild guess here, the latter is the main reason you have so much disdain for the guy. Whatever you think of this person, just realize that he WAS NOT the one taking the BIG IMPORTANT decisions.........YOU know as well as i do ......who those people are that were!
As for Mr. Hoffman......well......we have this little description below....
"He is a Professional Engineer with over 26 years of diverse technical and leadership experience."
I'm guessing here that since the company did NOT say they would "immediately" look for a suitable replacement AND seek to replace Mr. Wanklyn with someone of comparable XP, this leads to me to believe they don't intend to for some valid reason. Let's if this is truly the case in the immediate future.....& permanent thinng.
As for Mr. Hoffman, i hope you know EstevanO that usually, techinicians, engineers & scientists....usually don't make best, "fine" or suitable Ceo's and are quite lacking in the "managment" department. In addition, i hope you are aware as well that, Mr. Hoffman will have the same identical limited, restricted flexibility & leeway given to him by "the powers that be" .......as Mr. Wanklyn had. IE.....meaning BOTH do not call the shots!
