he Crucial Role of Potash in Ensuring Food Security: SAGE.v

Potash, a vital agricultural nutrient, plays a crucial role in farming. Surprisingly, the USA, known for its extensive agricultural industry, relies on imports for about 95% of its potash needs. Increasing domestic potash production in the United States would not only enable better price control but also enhance the country's supply chain security.

As fertilizer and food costs continue to escalate, the urgency for domestic potash production within the United States becomes increasingly evident. Sage Potash Corp (SAGE.v) aims to establish itself as a major player in the American potash industry, contributing to the fulfillment of this crucial need.

Central to SAGE's ambitions is the Sage Plain Potash Project, which is home to what is believed to be the largest untapped potash deposit in the United States. The project boasts an inferred resource estimated at 280 million metric tonnes, positioning it as a potentially colossal reserve. With such a substantial resource, the Sage Plain Project has the potential to support decades of production. Moreover, the project's high potash purity and favorable formation temperature make it particularly suitable for solution mining methods.

Solution mining entails dissolving potash using water. In this method, wells are drilled into the potash-bearing area and water is pumped down these wells to initiate the dissolution of potassium chloride (KCl), which is the desired potash product. The resulting brine is then brought back to the surface and transported through pipelines to the processing plant. This process allows for less surface and environmental impact.

In a significant development, SAGE has formed a partnership with RESPEC to initiate a Phase 1 Drill Hole Program and undertake a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the property. The PEA will serve as a crucial blueprint for the construction of a pilot potash production facility.

SAGE is optimistic about the potential commencement of potash production from the Sage Plain Project within the next 1-2 years, reflecting the company's confidence in its ability to progress efficiently towards its production goals.
