In general though, institutional investors are about as bad as the bulk of retail investors, meaning that they will sell out in a heartbeat for a piddly premium if given a chance in a potential M&A scenario.
The best purchases are those by the insiders or whales (Sprotts, etc). Long story short, I don't necessarily think that Fidelity is on our side (longs who require $10+ in a buyout) but they tend to be a lazy bunch who don't think for themselves and will follow whatever the BoD directs them to do.
Again, it all boils down to how strong a bulwark Paul and the BoD will be to any lowball offers. Crossing my fingers that history repeats itself and they land us the big payday we deserve.
