Let's see what happens regarding the directors, especially the two that barely got reelected despite our votes in favor of them. Shareholders sent a clear message and a smaller board is called for based on cost cutting needs alone. I do not believe I supported the status quo in my conversation with the board chair and I think the board are inclined towards decisive action once they have thought it all through.

You could have used this opportunity to forced them to walk the talk by taking decisions to bring the company to profitability before year end. Now we all can see this won't happen.
The easy way to send a message without causing to much harm would have been to vote 1 or 2 Directors out like most shareholders have done. Today, it looks like your are the only one protecting the status quo.
This must be a very unconfortable place to be...
