Dartmam,
Yes, I used the TSX Venture exchange volume.
Two questions:
1) Please list the other 7 of the "8 recognized exchanges in Canada" that you claim DOC is or can be traded on.
2) What is the online source of your 350K average daily trade volume number claim? Mine is TMX Money.
The only other exchange I know of where DOC is listed and traded is the U.S. OTC exchange under the ticker DOCRF.
Further, the 130K daily trading volume for a penny stock is not the problem - it's the lack of interest from major institutional investors and quite frankly insiders that's the issue.
December 5, 2022: Karen Adams 100,000 @ $0.20 = $20,000
December 13, 2022: Karen Adams 100,000 @ $0.205 = $20,500
January 5, 2023: Graeme McPhail 100,000 @ $0.1991 = $19,910
These aren't exactly major purchases in terms of total number of dollars invested by those that would know the company best and thus doesn't inspire much confience IMO. Also interesting to note that it appears no insider has purchased any shares in over 4 months even though the share price remains around the $0.20 mark.
Yes, insititutional investors do have different stock screening criteria re. share price, but if you are a penny stock, you automatically get eliminated by lots of insitutions re. the "minimum share price" screening criterion. Only those investment firms with an appetite for very high risk plays would even consider DOC.
Finally, DOC's market cap is currently around $57M, which is also low and presents another potential stock screen criteron roadblock that eliminates DOC from consideration by larger institutions.
I win.
