HMS Dreadnought was a brand new battleship that was built in 1906, that made every other battleship afloat obsolete overnight. It started a massive shipbuilding boom, and by the time WWI started 8 years later in 1914 was already obsolete, was only used in home defence and stayed out of the biggest naval battle of the war - Jutland. The Royal Canadian Navy is currently sailing 30 year old Frigates, yet a 10 year old Battleship was already obsolete in 1916. Just like Dumont?
