After this is completed, Environmental Impact Assessment study will follow to evaluate the potential impacts of the project (water, noise, air, aquatic studies, fauna, everything), in addition Socio economic studies are done concurrently , which has to get a nod from local communities. EIA and socioeconomic studies will be at least 5 year process, it can be initiated after PEA studies are completed and then has to go through many iterations, revisions, additional studies, etc. So overall 8-10 years before permits are issued.
