That's how it's done.
You probably don't have to call them though.
It should say right on your DRS that they are no longer restricted after May21.
I just brought a copy of the form to my broker and they did the rest and put it into my TFSA. Make sure your broker knows what they are doing because they need to send the completed forms by mail and electronically.
If they forget to send it electronically it can take up to 6 weeks by snail mail. Mine took 6 business days to show up in my TFSA
