Araxa is a vertically integrated rare earth element and niobium mine and extraction plant project located in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

USGS 2022 Phosphate Rock Production Data:

China: 85 million
Morocco: 40 million
USA: 21 million
Russia: 13 million

China National Bureau of Statistics reported 104.75 million tons of rock production in 2022, which is much higher than the USGS number. USGS data include “production data for large mines only, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics of China”.
