RE:Please listen I agree, that this is a significant negative sign for most companies since it indicates you are not in compliance, and it's signals that message to the street. I do hear people making the point that it's costly, but that's the cost of doing business. The Motley fool says the following.
"You don't automatically lose money as an investor, but being delisted carries a stigma and is generally a sign that a company is bankrupt, near-bankrupt, or can't meet the exchange's minimum financial requirements for other reasons. Delisting also tends to prompt institutional investors to not continue to invest"

so, at the end of the day, there is very little positive to come out of this, and to me, it's another sign that this company is not performing, and it's being reflected, and it's share price and now delisting.
