Geophysical Surveys Expected to Enhance Understanding of NNL The increasing momentum towards electrification signals a strong and consistent rise in the demand for battery metals in the coming years. Surge Battery Metals Inc. (ticker: NILI.v or NILIF for US investors) is a junior company focused on battery metals. NILI controls a nickel-iron alloy project in British Columbia and three lithium projects in Nevada, the Galt, Teels Marsh, and Nevada North Lithium Projects.
NILI's Nevada North Lithium Project spans 243 mineral claims in the Granite Range area. NILI intends to conduct a 7-hole drill program on the expansive 4,785-acre site. The primary objective of this program is to further explore and assess the high-grade lithium clay discovery made at the project site in the previous year.
Today NILI announced that it has signed a contract with BGC Engineering to further assess the potential resource at its Nevada North Lithium Project.
NILI has already been conducting exploration activities at Nevada North with promising results and is hoping GDB will be able to further delineate Nevada North's lithium clays to better understand the resource.
BGC will conduct geophysical surveys, including a Towed Transient Electromagnetic (tTEM) survey and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) surveys, to refine the mineralization footprint for upcoming drilling.
