RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Does anyone understand what Hecla's plans are for Rackla? Now that HL has gone down from $7 in April, the deal doesn't look as rosy. There are a lot of things in the air and the long amount of time between now and whenever this happens (with obviously no possibily of exploration catalysts in the meantime) is not optimal.
The only part of your position that I would take issue with is -- even with this far from ideal situation -- ATAC was going nowhere and fast. To say that the price of gold going north would/will suddenly change our fortunes should we remain unsold goes against the record. Go back to Aug 2020, gold price went over $2K--ATAC did nuthin; May 2021 gold at $1900--Atac did nada; $1959 may 2022--ATAC continuing its ride to nowhere. Without the tote road, this thing has been on a one-way ride for past 10+ years. There is not a thing to suggest we were/are going anywhere else but down before this little pick me up (Hecla) as pathetic as it is. I hope the little offshoot that you get with the HL shares has all the luck to make up for this crappy ride we've been on.
