Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in managing the company's financial accounting, reporting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, with specific experience in manufacturing and technology sectors. CPA designation is required, along with 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years post-designation. While supervisory experience is an asset, it is not required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative company.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Ownership and management of the Company’s financial reporting, including chart of accounts, general ledger postings, including oversight and preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, with a focus on cost accounting and inventory management
