RE:Random daily thought....Oh I should also mention that I'm old enough to remember Alberta NDP candidates campaigning about stopping the use of water for oil production. This was back in the early 2000s. Back then they were trying to pit farmers against energy producers. The argument was that energy was taking too much of the water and there would not be enough for farming. The argument failed to resonate with voters, however if NDP is in power and Trudeau controlling the media, guaranteed they will use it to convice people agra and industry need to stop using to save the planet, thereby ensuring there is enough clean water for everyone.
NDP in Manitoba have also been campaigning for decades about clean water and lakes. Expect an onslaught of media coverage about how nitrates from farming fertilizers and barns are polluting lakes and that the water agency is finding unacceptable levels of hydrocarbons in the watersheds, resevoirs, lakes, rivers and streams. Media will spin it and majority of populace will lap it up, shrug their shoulders and say... oh well shutting it all down is best for the planet and our safety.... "hmm oh by the way.... Yes we had a great couple weeks in Mexico this past winter... looking forward to our trip again next year". Canadians are pathetically asleep to the attack underway.
