SQI Diagnostics Inc. is a Canada-based company that is focused on lung health. The Company is engaged in the development and manufacturing of respiratory health and precision medicine tests that run on its fully automated systems. Its clinical solutions include Rapid Acute Lung Injury Diagnostic (RALI-Dx), lung transplant diagnostics, COVID-19 testing and surveillance testing solutions. Its RALI-Dx IL-6 Severity Triage Test and the RALI-fast IL-6 Severity Triage point of care (POC) Test each help clinicians identify which patients with SARS-CoV-2 are predicted to have a severe inflammatory response and should or should not be admitted to the hospital. Its RALI-Dx delivers results from the lab in less than an hour while RALI-fast delivers results at the patient point-of-care in about 15 minutes. The Company’s TORdx LUNG Test measures inflammation at the molecular level to assess the health of the donor lung. The Company is also focused on its organ transplant pipeline of products.

Great people can accomplish great things for all

Great people can accomplish great things for all The three guys are not morally or financially in distress and have the aptitude to understand just how big the golden egg they are sitting on is.  In fact one could argue there are multiple eggs.  As Directors they influence much of what transpires and these are especially influential people with the ability to capture an audience if they want to.  
The fact that they have quietly supported the company is notable.  There is so much that could be broadcast as these are products that impact the lives of so many.  The RALI POC Triage test can literally help every ER on the planet, and has the support of top KOL in the world for respiratory health/transplant.  We are hearing of so many experiences everyday where hospital resources are stretched beyond intended limits, where SQI's Triage test could bring some much needed guidance and relief.  See this link below for some pretty typical situations right here at home in Canada....Crisis is an understatement & SQI can provide much needed help.  Huge value for all concerned.  We know, and once the story is out, so too will others.
 
UHN and Dr. Shaf Keshavjee are valued partners and the fact that they place such importance and value on both RALI & TORdx products is of great significance!  
Martine Rothblatt of LBE (Lung Bioengineering / United Therapeutics) is also a huge supporter of UHN and her friend Shaf, and that too is notable.  They along with many other top partners are accomplishing great things.  SQI is a welcome building block/partner.

Given the stage SQI is at with these products and the known market available to them, significant commercialization is just a matter of time.  I suspect that funding could come from one of the multiple parties they are in discussion with as they partner on distribution of certain products (Pg 9 of deck).  I don't know the status of discussion with government sponsors either, but that could also be in the works?             
The three guys want to bolster their reputations and that of their family name, and presumably help all they can with their support.  Those that grasp just how large and profitable each opportunity SQI has are, will have faith that there is support to be had.  SQI has world-leading partners and superior KOL's involved.  Everyone involved or with keen knowledge recognizes the value SQI offers and these leaders will do the right thing for all concerned.  Why wouldn't they?     
The Lung Bioengineering opportunity is just one example where the scale and impact is significant.
They have the first centralized organ repair centers in the USA and have been partnered with UHN and Shaf Keshavjee for many years.  LBE will be deemed a captive customer/partner as they follow the UHN protocol which will include the TORdx test once final approval.  A captive market with a tight protocol - perfect!  A hundred percent of $100M is a good number to start.  There is nowhere else for LBE to go, and it adds significant value and safety for them.  With visible win-win-wins, for the entire ecosystem, little has been left to question or chance.  
 
SQI is different and so too are those involved.  Andrew Morris and the Directors know they have change the world products with a clear sightline to commercialization and profitability.
