RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Have share buybacks really been accretive?Hey dufus,  read the question you asked below and then ask yourself what accretive means.

Have share buybacks really been accretive?

What is Accretive?

In both finance and in general lexicon, the term "accretive" is the adjective form of the word "accretion", which refers to gradual or incremental growth. For example, an acquisition deal may be deemed accretive for the absorbing company, if that deal contributes to an increase in earnings per share.

Still seems accretive to me to the tune of 25% per quarter in share price and dividend since the merger.

You don't like share price and dividend examples dufus?

Tell ya what, you like market-cap right?

Compare the ARX pre-merger market-cap to the market-cap of ARX today.

I dare ya...lol

Easy Hold

I got some desert property you can buy, it pays a monthly rent and you will get you money back in 100 years, the returns are solid.

The share price is trading at half price, because the balance sheet metrics are destroyed by they gigantic hedging losses. I have never seen an ARX hedging gain, is this suppose to be a cost center?

So the dividend sucks and the share prices sucks because the manage are rookies and don't know how to manage the company. So on both metrics ARX is failing, and if the fired 2/3 of their staff, Fixed their risk management, and stopped buying back shares they would be a $30 dollar stock.

Sit there a look at your measly 4% dividend, and dismal share price, and wave you pom poms.

Boom cha boom cha boom - time for another cheer leader practice

IMHO
