They have a good little deal going there, currently everyone is getting paid a tidy sum except the shareholders. I think the board, the executives and Cuba like it that way. Russia and China could easily do what Sherritt does for Cuba, so rocking the boat with some king of takeover me thinks is very unlikely.
Maybe Canada could come to a deal and merge with Cuba as the 11th Province or 4th territory, that would give me a warm place to go in the winter that isn't outrageously expensive or too far. Maybe I could open a paint store, the country needs a little sprucing up, increase the value for the new owner (Canada).
Haha. So true. They got all those old cars there from the 50s. But try to get a paint job for one. If you go to a body shop you are lucky if they have more than one color paint to choose from. Paint is a hot commodity down there as are a lot of other essentials
