This suggests some imminent dealTVI owns 30.66% of TVIRD, and Villar's holding company has nearly all the rest at 68.42%. That leaves less than 1% for "somebody else", probably Villar's dog.
But now Villar wants more, so he buys a larger interest in TVI itself, which leverages his whole interest when B2Gold or somebody else whips out their chequebook for the whole thing.
It also leverages his interest in TVI's piece of TVIRD, if and when TVIRD finally does its own IPO.
Cagey fellow, that Villar. Covers all his bases in one shrewd move.
