My Earlier Forecast Production Quite Accurate
" 950,000 tonnes of mill feed per year (about 3000 tpd)
... Mass deduction of 5% (i.e. 100 tonnes of ore are concentrated by a factor of 20 to 5 tonnes of concentrate).( actually 2.5 % which is even better )
..head grade of 1.95 grams per tonne (oxides removed).( 1.99 gms actual )
.... Yield of 85% ( looks like closer to 90% )
So we have 1.95 g/tonne. X 20 X 85% = 35 g per tonne, which is exactly the output reported today.
950,000 tonnes of overhead material is concentrated by a factor of 20 (ie mass haul of 5%) to produce 47,000 tonnes of concentrate containing 1.1 ounces of gold per tonne.
This results in about 52,000 ounces of gold per year contained in 47,000 tonnes of gold concentrate "
( will stand by this estimate as it is still as good as it gets, given calibration data of yesterday )
