Ford Seeks Quebec Based Lithium Company for Lithium Supply Quebec-based company Nemaska Lithium has secured an 11-year agreement with Ford to sell its lithium products for use in electric vehicle (EV) batteries. Ford will purchase up to 13,000 tons of lithium hydroxide per year from the company's factory in Bcancour, Quebec.
This is a clear example of an American EV manufacturer seeking out a Canadian company to meet its lithium supply needs.
Arctic Fox Lithium Corp. (AFX.c) controls 3 lithium projects near James Bay, Quebec: Delta Lake, Pontax North, and Kana Lake.
AFX plans to complete a ground survey on the project including geological mapping, prospecting, and soil & rock sampling this quarter.
