RE:Adherence will be challengingReally not sure where you are getting every other day regarding frequency.  Perhaps I have missed something, but my understanding is that a minimum of 16 readings per month in order to qualify for reimbursement. This would not equate 1 to 1 with respect to frequency (ie: every other day).  Cheers.
