Mocoa Deposit

Mocoa Deposit

According to Columbia’s mining agency the country expects its copper output to jump more than tenfold to 100,000t/yr by 2025 as new projects come on line amid a government drive to tap into new mineral resources.

LBC is benefiting from this green energy transition w/ the Mocoa deposit (inferred resource containing over 2M tonnes of copper).

Most recent update from Mocoa saw LBC contract Anglo Asian Mining to outline and confirm a development opportunity for an accelerated pathway to production.

With the surging demand for copper in numerous industries (renewable energy, EV’s, etc.) the deposit could be a big part of the success of the Green Route Alliance in Columbia.
