A couple of things I don't do:

1. Conflate what was going on in 2017 with what's going on today.
2. Conflate day to day stock price movements with fundamentals and potential.

Then still without much clients, SP shot up to around $2.30 in 2018 to crash then to 0.25 apparently due to fake news.
While I accept your explanation... it does not change todays fact, we have no way to check any of the information they provide... Today SP and volume doesn't bode well in view of all the new accounts they claimed since 2017 share price... No degree in economics needed to realize something is amiss...
