Half a cent off all time low - maybe we need ...I don't know ....a COO? That seemed to work out pretty good last time. You see, Search searched and searched for just the right person and after 3 months of searching, Search found Todd, who resigned from his COO position at Search, but apparently  hung around until the previous CEO moved on. Considering the timing of this, I can only guess that Todd's insertion is related to government's financial support for the new demonstration plant. After all, we've seen this show before.

From 2005

Todd Burlingame, the controversial head of the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board (MVLWB), has resigned after less than a year on the job.

Scott's appointment of Burlingame as chairman was politically charged from the outset: in January 2005, the MVLWB recommended three candidates for the job, all of them residents of the Northwest Territories. Burlingame, who had moved to British Columbia, was not on the list.

The minister did not choose a name from the list, instead picking Burlingame, a former oil and gas consultant who had previously been the chair of the Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board.
