Synex Renewable Energy Corporation is engaged in the development, acquisition, ownership, and operation of renewable energy projects in Canada. The Company has ownership interests in 12 megawatts (MW) of operating hydro projects in British Columbia and owns a Vancouver Island grid connection and utility carrying on business as Kyuquot Power Ltd. The Company also has 9.4 MW of construction ready run-of-river projects, applications, and land tenures on another 24 potential hydroelectric sites totaling over 150 MW of capacity, and approximately 16 wind development sites that could provide up to 4,700 MW of clean power in British Columbia. The electrical energy business of the Company is conducted by its wholly owned subsidiary, Synex Energy Resources Ltd. Its power plants include Mears Creek Hydro Plant, Cypress Creek Hydro Plant, China Creek Hydro Plant, McKelvie Creek Hydro Project, Newcastle Creek Hydro Project, Victoria Lake Hydro Project, and others.

Canadian Climate Investor Conference

The inaugural Canadian Climate Investor Conference, on June 8, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, at the Hyatt Regency Toronto, will bring together growth oriented, publicly traded clean energy and technology companies, and climate conscious investors, to discover ways to accelerate the deployment of capital needed to build a more sustainable future for Canadians.
