Atlas Salt Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the evaluation, exploration, development and production of industrial mineral properties in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Company’s principal asset is the Great Atlantic salt deposit project (Great Atlantic Salt Project), located in the St. George Basin of western Newfoundland. Its Gypsum Project is three kilometers (km) southwest of Great Atlantic salt deposit, which is an early-stage and open-pit production from the Ace deposit. Its Nepheline Syenite Property consists of a surface occurrence of nepheline syenite along the southern Labrador highway. The project is located approximately six km from tide water.

RE:RE:Getting CloserI see the current CEO search is another example of the existing Board falling short. The search was announced in February and a four month turnaround is not unreasonable, but the wording of the announcement so early in the search process raised expectations of news much earlier than will transpire to be the case. This will likely delay the release of the FS whilst the new CEO gets up to speed.

I think it would undermine the new CEO if other board members were appointed before his approval, and so the statement that "Atlas would be taking immediate and near terms steps to further strengthen its overall team" was again ill thought out. 

But we agree. There has to be a process to finally get to a proper functioning and respected  management team and this should be the start.
