Finally, A Fuller Disclosure!Complete transparency is always the best policy. Nothing was held back here!
https://stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2023/06/08/rockliff-provides-winter-exploration-update Not all drilling campaigns should be expected to be successful. It was a gamble that needed to be made. It didn't provide a payoff. So they will just keep exploring elsewhere!
Let management kick the can around in the lithium space for the balance of the Summer and Fall.
Maybe they will discover something important. But at least they won't be wasting too much capital.
Perhaps, just their time!
More significant money will be needed later, for other, more important projects.
They probably are making the best financial move by keeping most of their remaining powder, dry to give the Pennex project, another crack, next Winter. This property is an important one to investigate. Its close proximity to Lalor is worth a thorough drilling program to determine its possible significance.
Thanks to Sneps for mentioning to us that an early heavy snowfall could have been responsible for insulating the ground (muskeg) from freezing. That's a heads up that may be significant.
Certainly last December was an unusual one for excessive snowfall, where I live. Maybe it was the same in Snow Lake? And a warming and cooling trend wouldn't help matters at all!
We live in strange times now. The weather seems to be getting warmer. But maybe next season will be different and the ground access roads will have a better chance to freeze, more solidly.
Let's hope so!
Maybe the company could find a different access route to the property?
There are other deposits also worthy of further investigation like the Copperman property which seemed to offer, some pretty good grades.
And if the cash later becomes available, then even the Tower property still requires more exploratory work; now that it has been determined to have an unusual mix of copper, nickel and pgm metals.
The nearby eastern nickel belt seems to have played some related connection with its original deposition.
Hudbay might like to have an additional inducement to get the Talbot project underway at last! But they might have to make a sweet deal with Rockcliff Metals to fully realize this area's economic potential on behalf of their shareholders. The nearby Tower property is closer to the highway and could be even cheaper to mine, at least from an infrastructure point of view.
We shouldn' t necessary give up completely on the lithium potential at Bur or at Sails. After all, Ken did say to me that not all pegmatites would provide the needed lithium content to make them commercial. But some pegmatites closer to the main Snow Lake lithium field may be worthy of some further investigation.
At least some lithium is there. Maybe there is a more significant amount of lithium, closer to where the other explorers have been working.
At least, after some initial work has been completed, we should all be satisfied that this lithium idea is worth pursuing further or whether it should just be abandoned. That's what a responsible exploration manager might choose to do.
At this point, all I can add is that the share price, still remains, very cheap to buy.
Rockcliff Metals has a lot of copper to market when the company finally decides to press the point home!
But they need to make the effort!
Maybe that's their next best step?
All the best! Java
