Clearly, I could very easily be completely wrong about this.
I concur entirely with the view that the market has failed utterly to comprehend just how favourably skewed the probably upside is.
I actually disagree and think we have at least two important catalysts in the short term while we wait for drilling to resume. They are the closing of the financing and possible addition of a strategic investor and also I feel the geophysical program could be a huge catalyst for an increase in share price.
So there have been rumours floating around since a certain someone made a twitter post a few weeks ago saying they were buying FNI. Also it would not surprise me to see someone like Eric Sprott increase his position in Fathom Nickel. Sprott Capital is a current shareholder of the company.
I think the geophysics will reveal a lot more details on about the high grade nickel target encountered during the winter drilling program at Gochager. I also believe that past geophysical programs will prove the great potential of the entire property that now has 11 high priority targets outlined. The company and Quinton Hennigh are already aware of the huge potential of this region. It appears the market is not aware of this enormous potential. There are a host of geological similarities of the Gochager property with other large nickel sulphide deposits with Nova Bollinger being perhaps the most similar to this discovery made by Fathom. The current geophysical program will most definitely highlight these details which could possibly be released within the next couple of weeks.
It is my view that Fathom Nickel remains one of the most underrated junior exploration stocks on the exchange. With a market cap of only $20 million this thing has 10 bagger written all over it. And if indeed they have stumpled upon a huge deposit of nickel with 15 or 20 million tonnes of 2% nickel than FNI will go to $10 plus so fast it will make your head spin.
