With such unique and proprietary technology and products, "pulling the plug" would lead to many unsaved lives and would prevent the medical system from getting much needed help as quickly as possible for triaging etc.
Dr. Shaf Keshavjee has had a vision inclusive of SQI for many years. It is important to the entire ecosystem and all of the lives that rely on same.
With lives at stake, high value propositions at play, high profile stakeholders in the know - have to believe there is much incentive in supporting SQI.
