That said, history doesn't move in a straight line just like everything else. I posted this article because I see then potential for investors to have to cross the "Valley of Darkness" before the primordial characteriztics that you mention take over once again.
This may not happen and we may get to the other side of the valley without any problems but to me prudent investors need to keep their eyes open to these developments and not discount them out of hand and more imprtantly to have a strategy to deal with them if they take hold, even for a short while.
I remember not that long ago that Government officials referred to billions of dollars as "Bricks" since it was difficult for people to inagine a number that big. Now, in the US, according to CBO we will see multi trillion dollar dollar deficits annually. LOL...just in case anyone has trouble figuring that out - a trillion is a thousand times bigger than a billion!!
Anyway as the old Girl Scout motto says - "Be prepared".
