This week after all of the hype CZO averaged 5 trades per day, last week significantly less and over the last few days there are several days of no trades. There is minimal interest in CZO in the investment community and that falls directly on gagnon shoulders. Now this idiot wants to be listed on another exchange. Cleanup the mess you created in your own backyard before crapping in your neighbours. Focus on righting the wrongs before creating more.
lack of communication is one, promoting the same thing year after year without delivering is also a major problem which leads to credibility. Gagnon has absolutely no credibility in the investment community and now he thinks by expanding to another trade platform he will right the ship. What a ducking idiot.
To increase shareholder value, uplisiting to increase exposure was said to be a solution. That is questionable.
You can't get something from nothing. CZO with a current market cap of $30M USD will not be able to acquire a company and create a share price of $4USD without a significant rollback. 2 similarly sized companies with a combined $60M market cap would have about 15M shares outstanding to hit a $4USD share price. As such each company will effectively contribute 7.5M shares to the NEWCO. CZO would see effectively a 10 to 1 share rollback. Unless the company they are merging with has a following, you won't see any recogniztion for Ceapro's cash or IP.
As noted, the NASDAQ listing has been touted for years. If a $4USD share price was a target then what efforts were made to "promote" the company to at least "fair value"so that any rollback would be minimized. The current share price sits at 8X previous years earnings (6X ex-cash) and values the company essentially for a base business alone with no value assigned to a company's pipeline which has a disruptive technology.
More than enough TSXV companies with a solid IR strategy (speaking with nano-microcap fund managers and analysts, road shows for retail investors, retail investor conferences) by
reaching out to investors creates true exposure and interest in a company. The SCD interview created interest in mid 2022. Yes, it takes EFFORT and WORK to have a solid IR strategy and campagin to create expsoure for a company. Disseminating news is not a IR strategy, it's more of meeting regulatory requirements for material disclosure.
