SQI Diagnostics Inc. is a Canada-based company that is focused on lung health. The Company is engaged in the development and manufacturing of respiratory health and precision medicine tests that run on its fully automated systems. Its clinical solutions include Rapid Acute Lung Injury Diagnostic (RALI-Dx), lung transplant diagnostics, COVID-19 testing and surveillance testing solutions. Its RALI-Dx IL-6 Severity Triage Test and the RALI-fast IL-6 Severity Triage point of care (POC) Test each help clinicians identify which patients with SARS-CoV-2 are predicted to have a severe inflammatory response and should or should not be admitted to the hospital. Its RALI-Dx delivers results from the lab in less than an hour while RALI-fast delivers results at the patient point-of-care in about 15 minutes. RE:Solid products and results-Small incremental funding neededI guess if you mean small funding, something on the order of 10M? Probably 50M.

They let go of ALL of their staff, except the CFO, who is tying up loose ends. Pretty sure that the 3 insiders finally had enough...and if they lost faith, then it's all over. 

It would be a good lesson for MBA students in the future on how much to sink into R&D vs getting an effective team to sell the technology across the globe. 

As for the company, any dribs and drabs left over will be swallowed up by PIVOT and the 3 insiders. 

SQI had a good run, but it's over. I'm hoping that someone will take the technology and move forward with it, because it can make transplants so much more effective.
