Gensource Potash Corp V.GSP

Alternate Symbol(s):  AGCCF

Gensource Potash Corporation is a Canada-based fertilizer development company. The Company is focused on developing resource opportunities with a specific focus on potash development. The Company operates under a business plan that has two key components: vertical integration with the market to ensure that all production capacity built is directed, and pre-sold, to a specific market, eliminating market-side risk; and technical innovation, which allows for a modular and economic potash production facility, which demonstrates environmental leadership within the industry, producing no salt tailings, therefore eliminating decommissioning. Its projects include Tugaske Project, Vanguard Area and Lazlo Area. The Vanguard Area is 100% owned in central Saskatchewan, located 170 kilometers (km) South of Saskatoon, 150 km North-West of Regina on a provincial highway system. The Lazlo Area is located in central Saskatchewan.

Looking forward to updated CAPEX / OPEX numbers

Looking forward to updated CAPEX / OPEX numbers

With the recent deep dive in both natural gas prices and potash prices, it will be very interesting to see how it offsets the Tugaske projects OPEX calculations.

Has to be tough for potash number crunchers to try to pin the proverbial tail on a moving target in such a chaotic market.

"Gensource continues to progress its short-term financing, which the Company anticipates will advance the near-complete bridge engineering work for the Tugaske Project. Key deliverables for the bridge engineering, anticipated to be completed in early 2023 include:

  • Confirm and update the AACE Level 3 capital cost estimate (first completed in October 2021). For those interested in the depth of detail involved in this work, see https://library.aacei.org//pgd01/pgd01.shtml;
  • Confirm and update operating cost estimates;
  • Pursue exciting new CAPEX and OPEX reduction opportunities; and
  • Bring key procurement contracts for the Tugaske Project to a ready-to-sign status"
