RE:A note on timeline and some thoughts

RE:A note on timeline and some thoughtsTo me what's confusing is that apparently the management are operating from a position of power.  Eric even in his letter mentions that it is a sellers market.  If that is the case, then you need to set paramaters in which you expect the buyers to operate in.  I.e. the following 30 days will be the offer period where interested parties can submit offers, the next 30 days immediatly following the offer period the company will use to review the offers, at day 61 a decision will be made etc.  I know I'm over simplifying it, but it should not be much different than selling a house in a sellers market.  Offers are made and reviewed and a decision is made and the house is sold, period.

I understand it's a strategic partnership that they are after and they don't want to p*ss anyone off by being too aggressive, but if you're being d*cked around in a sellers market then is that truly the entity that you want as your stratgeic partner?  If they don't see the value, then it's time to move on to the next one.

If the buyers have so many options that the management team is negotiating with them for months, then I'm sorry, but that only means that it's a buyers market and/or you just suck at this.
